Taken at the 'Schlammteich' (Sedimentationsbecken Eignerbach which is technically Velbert, I think) this picture shows some tubes operated bei the Rheinkalk GmbH (who also happens to own the estate).

In contrast to some popular opinion these tubes do not (!) induce some terrible industrial poison into the water to kill all the flora and fauna in the area...

smile_shouting The truth is that through these tubes the water from the lake is regularly sucked out in order to prevent a flooding of the ajoining housing...
