Gelnhausen, once a 'Free City', is situated at the southern edge of the Vogelsberg mountains and was an old crossing of trade routes by the Kinzig River, which was formerly navigable.The picture shows the upper marketplace with the city hall.

Florentine	these kind of architecture gives a warm atmosphere. Very nice, even in winter. Imagine the beauty in summer with blue sky and flowers around.
